Kyle Knodel '13 Recruiting Profile

I am Kyle Knodel, 6'3", 175lbs, and a person that strives to make my team the best we could possibly become. In 2012 I made All Conference Player of the Year, 1st team All Region and All State for NC. I play for PTFC NC Regional team and played on the NC ODP and Regional pool teams. I am a captain for my club and High school team and  have started every game for the past 5 years. I was the only underclassman on my high school varsity soccer team and was the leading goal scorer. I started every game and played every minute. I have started for every team I have played for ever since I played recreational ball at age 5. In school I broke 6 school records, most goals scored in a season while I was at Center Mid, Most hat-tricks in a season at Center Mid, when playing Sweeper my team let in 6 goals in 12 games. During middle school we were back-to-back (first team to win a championship, first to do it back to back, and the schools first perfect season) champions while I was a captain. Our overall record for 2 years was 22-2. The reason is because I am a player that loves to have the ball at my feet mainly because I can make scoring opportunities happen. I am a player that will encourage my teammates to improve not only so they will get better but so the team as a whole will improve. I am a player that is not afraid to hit a shot from 30 feet out but would much rather play a ball over the top or play that through ball onto another player. I am a player that when practice gets canceled that day I will text all my teammates and tell them to get together at the fields so we can play. It is my dream to play college sports and I will do whatever it takes to make that happen. I am looking for a school, big or small, DI, DII, DIII that wants to win. I just want to play the beautiful game. I am the component your team needs, I am your next recruit.
