My name is Ryan Scott and I am a senior at High Point Christian Academy. I am well rounded soccer player with experience on my high school varsity team, club team, and the team I played for overseas in my time as an expatriate. All throughout my life, I have been seeking a way to be seen and known through athletics. I have wanted to play a sport for a college ever since I was a kid. I hope that I can take my passion and knowledge to a higher level team. Growing up overseas I have been shaped by different skill levels and athletic training than some of what we have here in the states. It has given me good and bad in comparison to the numerous levels of athletics here. Having been born and raised overseas I have been given a unique opportunity that many can't even think about; thus making me a passionate and hardworking athlete. A disadvantage to me was not having the opportunity to participate in club teams throughout my middle and high school years. This was not an option living abroad.
After high school I hope to continue with my sports activities, as I strive for success in my university major. I have not narrowed my choice down to a single major, but I plan to study either Graphic Design or Communications. I have a lot of interest in both fields and feel that either would be a great choice for me to pursue.
