My name is Cortez Herring and I am a sophomore at Fayetteville Academy in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I am looking for a college that has a academically and athletically competitive program.
I can play different positions but my first choice position is attacking midfielder. I have played in many high competitive events. I worked hard to be on my schools varsity team as a freshman and earned a starting position my sophomore year. In 2017 my high school soccer team won the 2A NCISAA State Championship and is currently ranked 4th in North Carolina.
A key aspect of my game is dribbling. I love to drive at players and create space for my teammates. I am a very hard worker and do not give up even if my team is down.
I have always loved soccer since a very young age, it is my passion and I would love to continue at the college level. I am very hard-working and I possess many skills needed to achieve my goal.
