Tyler Miller '12 Recruiting Profile

My name Tyler Miller. I am 6'-2" tall and weigh 165 lbs. I have average speed, but am very good at anticipating play direction and flow. I can use both feet equally, but am dominate with my right. During my High School seasons at Sandia Prep High School I started as a freshman and sophomore. I was first team all state both years and made second team district freshman year, and first team district my sophomore year. Both years my high school team made the finals of the state championship. I have played with the same club team since I was eight years old. We have won the state championship 6 times during that time. We advanced to the Far West Regional semi-finals this year. My club team has also has advanced to the finals of the 2010 final four showcase and the 2010 President's day tournament in Phoenix. I was elected by my teammates as team captain this year and have a deep desire to play soccer at the college level. I am currently training to recover from a knee injury at a sports training facility. I am open to big or small colleges and am looking at the NW area of the country as my first preference. I would need some kind of financial aid to attend college. I as thinking of studying physical therapy in college. My realistic goals at the college level are to make an impact with whatever college I would attend, but am not against a Red-shirt season to help the team.
