Nicholas Moskalow '14 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Nicholas Moskalow, and I have been playing soccer for twelve years. I began to play soccer at the age of four on a local rec team. At the age of nine, I was asked to join a travel team. Currently, I am a student at Pope John High School XXIII in Sparta, NJ who is 5' 10", 160 pounds, agile, and fast. I am a senior in high school and captain of the varsity team.  I have been playing on varsity since my sophmore year.  As a freshman, I was the leading scorer of the school with 16 goals in 15 games. I also play for a MAPS team, The Football Club of New Jersey U-17 (formerly Everton). I have much to offer a team as I am an outgoing team player who is motivated to take on any challenge sent my way. In addition to soccer, I have played basketball competitively, lacrosse and am an avid snowboarder.  I was an altar service at my church until the age of 16.  Since then I have been a lector and will be training to become a Eucharistic minister.  My overall goal is to attend an academically and athletically challenging school and to truly be the best I can possibly be.  My intended college major is health science. Based on my personality and desire to help others, I feel that this will be a very satisfying career for me.  My education is number one; however, my desire to continue playing soccer in college is very important to me.  I know that I will make a positive impact on my team as well as my school. I am looking forward to the experience of being on my own for the first time, meeting new people, and investigating other opportunities that may come my way.
