Personal Statement

I am 5'8'' 150 lbs and the hardest worker on my club and High School team. I understand what my team needs out of me and will work my hardest to achieve that standard. I am also very competitive and will do any thing for a starting position including optional fitness work which I have done in the past. As a Freshman, I led my High School team with 16 goals in 18 games. As a Sophomore I started on varsity as a center mid and recieved 2nd team all conference. As a Junior, I started as a center mid and recieved 1st team all conference; 2nd team all area; and all state honerable mention. My greatest achomplishment was playing a key role in my high school team winning the conference. It was the first time we won the conference in 16 years. We had some very close games this season including a penalty kick shootout win which I scored the winning goal. It is in these high level, fast paced games that I do my best.  The local newspaper, Daily Record, reported "Junior midfield J.D. Saracco is a returning starter who ignites the offense".My club team made it to State Finals last year and it was the best game I ever played because I knew the importance of the game and what my team mates wanted and expected out of me. I deffinatly gave them what they expected, winning every header and tackle and completing my passes. Another highlight for me was winning the Super Y National Finials in Tampa Florida in November 2011. My favorite player is Roma's Francesco Totti. I not only watch him play but I analize his play to help me improve my play. I watched all of his highlight videos. He is original and plays with confidence and the belief that he can do anything. I play very much like him.
I have no preference on the size of the school or the division level. I want to make an impact on the team which I believe is possible because I have always had the ability to fit into a team and adjust to their style of play quickly. My desired major is physical therapy or sports medicine.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
