JT Bretschneider '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10" goalie from Moorestown, NJ. This is my second season on the Varsity team. This past year I helped lead my team to a Sectional Championship, while earning 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team all County, and 3rd Team All-South Jersey honors.  During my junior year I recorded 10 shutouts and had a GAA of 1.08. As I began the fall season, I committed myself to improving  as a keeper. Recently, I even began to play in the field at right outside midfield for my club team, Princeton  Soccer Association.  It has given me a perspective on how outfield players think.  PSA recently won the NJ Cup and has played in larger showcases such as the Jefferson Cup and Potomac Memorial Day Tournament.  

Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I believe my best fit would be at any level.   I am looking for an institution where I can be challenged in the classroom and on the field.  I have been credited as an athletic keeper who is not afraid to come off his line and can read the game well.  I feel my  quick reaction time is one of my best assets along with my decision making ability.   

I would ultimately love to continue to play at any level and would like to discuss financial aid options for my family.
