Barry Fitzgerald '12 Recruiting Profile

I am Barry Fitzgerald. I'm currently 16 years old, 6'1, 190 pounds, and attend Cherokee High School as a Junior. Cherokee is a group IV school which I played for Sophmore and Junior year as the starting varsity goalkeeper. My club team has gone to a State Championship, and I played in a State quarterfinal as a freshman for my highschool team. Not only this, but Cherokee won a state championship during the 2010 season with me as the starting gaolkeeper. I'm not afraid of playing the big game. I will take charge on any team, I offer strong leadership on and off the field, and I'm always looking to improve my game. I believe that there is always a way to improve in every aspect of your game, and I strive for that. I am looking to go to a strong academic school. I work hard on the field, and in the classroom. I have no preference at the level of play, I just want to play to the best of my ability. I'm looking to major in Criminology, and I want to attend a school that has a strong program in that field. I look to make a strong impact on whatever school I end up at, and live my dream of playing soccer through college.
