My name is Juan Alcantara, I am a seventeen year old junior from Union City, New Jersey. I am 5'11'' 160 pounds. I am a goalkeeper and starter for St. Peter's Prep and my jersey number is 1. I have played varsity for 3 years at St. Peter's Prep. I also play a year up and start at Hudson United Futbol Club ranked 9 in the state. I am very interested in playing soccer at college.

I want to go to college where I can develop as a player while going to college for a great experience. I am all about learning from my coaches and teammates in ways I can help the team. I always try to have a positive affect on the team, I help my teammates stay motivated throughout the whole game. I feel as I am a leader on my team despite always being one of the youngest ones on the team.

As a player I am someone who isn't afraid to go for a 50/50 ball and I am always confident on every play. I play as confident as possible so I don't hesitate and make a wrong decision. I am always talking and yelling at my teammates throughout the whole game. I am always trying to stay in the game and not lose focus. I am very good in the air and I am very fast to react to shot or cross that comes my way.
