Tiago Reyes '16 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to further help the team and win at the highest level. A team is one in such that has 11 players on the field playing for one another, not 11 individuals who just so happen to be on a team but only play for themselves. What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I am constantly looking to improve and finding ways in which I can help out the team. I commit myself everyday to this game we call futebol, whether it's raining or snowing, hot or cold, it doesn't matter. What makes me different than other recruits is that to me it's more than just a game, it's a passion that deep down inside there is nothing else I'd rather be doing. It's a lifestyle I've chosen to live. Personally I hold myself accountable for my mistakes and I live up to them. I enjoy criticism and always use it to improve. I am never one to think or say that I am better than the rest of the team, and I always stay humble both on and off the field. My academics is just as important and I look to use my athletic ability to help provide the best education for me. In the future if I am part of that less than one percent that becomes a professional athlete, yes it would be a dream come true but if I just so happen to have a career ending injury of some sort, I need to have a backup plan in store that comes from my education.
