Kevin Groll '11 Recruiting Profile

I am an international Athlete, 20 years of age, who pursues to play college soccer in the near future. I am 6.1 feet tall, weigh 185 pounds, and have an athletic body. I am moderately fast, have good endurance, and a high vertical. Additionally, I have good over all body strength. Playing the Goal keeper position came very naturally; I block most shots that are targeted to my goal. Also, my team mates (especially defenders) play safer and more confident with me as their last man. Playing in the Varsity High School team, I was first recognized for my true talent and achievements and I was appointed MVP in my Senior Year. College Coaches in states around Nevada,(Arizona, Utah, Oregon, and California) who need a Goal Keeper, definitely should consider giving me the opportunity to just play for their team. However, I am open to travel further distances; nonetheless, I'd prefer the most compatible school as possible. It would be fortunate to get into a college that offers me a program for Education Major. I am willing to run the extra mile to practice on my weaknesses; in fact, I ask coaches constantly for feedback and advice to work on myself not only on practice but also on my own leisure time. As all successful athletes, I am an hard working individual. Staying involved with soccer will further my experience and skills. Therefore, I will get closer to my goal to become the best player I can be.
