I never thought I was good enough to play collegiate soccer. I have been playing soccer since I was three. My parents have had me in a Rec.leauge until I was old enough to play for a club team. My parents had this dream before I knew it was possible. I am good, I enjoy the sport.I know feel that I am worthy to play at the college level. I am left footed but have developed my right over the years so I am confident in my striking ability. What makes me a good candidate to play soccer at the collegiate level? I have grown up and I have developed the skills to play with confidence and I take instruction well. I am a team player, I enjoy dishing the ball as well as scoring myself. I must admit, I am afraid to leave home, but I know this is my rite of passage and playing soccer would be my piece of home away from home.
I have struggled in school but have always asked for help and tried to get the best grades I could. I understand my work, I am a better test taker than I am a listener, if that makes any sense. I know that my studies and homework are important and I do what I have to do, to do what I want to do and that is become successful in school and on the field.
I have grown up in church, I have a strong sense of family and loyalty. I am a nice person, I am loyal and understand team. I want to play soccer and go to college but I know that I will go to college, I pray I get to play as well.
