Making it to the State Playoffs my Junior year has been the highlight of my high school career. However, we would have never gotten there if it was not for the 0-7 loss in districts my Freshman year and the 0-1 loss my Sophomore year. These experiences that I had to encounter helped me grow as a student-athlete. They taught me to refocus myself and lead my team to a new level of play. The struggles that I have had to overcome in soccer have made me realize that I am capable of playing at the next level: the college level. I have been blessed with amazing teammates and coaches, winning the Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference championship and being Nebraska State Qualifiers this past season. Over the past three years with this program I have learned the value of teamwork, leadership, commitment, trust, and most importantly, staying humble always.
As I look for a good fit for me athletically, the most important aspect for me is my academics. I believe I have the talents to compete at the college level, but my leadership, character, and work ethic will positively impact your program both on the field and in the classroom. As a three sport athlete, I have learned what it takes to be a leader and the commitment that is needed to be successful and I have what it takes to do it for your team.
