Tony Doellefeld '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0" center midfielder from St. Louis, Missouri. I will graduate in May, 2014 from St. Louis University High. I am a committed student-athlete who works hard on and off the field. My strongest attributes are a combination of high technical ability and skill, along with creativity. I have the ability to see play developing and have vision for offensive possibilities, setting up scoring opportunities. I am a starting center midfielder for the St. Louis University High Varsity soccer team. SLUH competes in the Metro Catholic Conference, one of the most challenging and talented conferences in high school soccer. I am proud to be a part of my high school team, playing with, and against, some of the best players in the area. A condensed version of my soccer achievements are detailed below: - Starting Center Midfielder, St. Louis Scott Gallagher, NPL/USSDA Academy Developmental - Four Year Starter, St Louis University High Soccer Teams - Missouri ODP Region II Pool (4 Years) - Manchester United Premier Cup, Portland, Oregon - Nike id2 National Training Soccer Camp, Carson, California - Elite Soccer Camp, Barcelona, Spain.  I was accepted to play in a two week training camp in Barcelona (La Masia) with players from all over the world. It was a tremendous soccer and cultural experience. We trained at La Masia, on the field next to the Barcelona first team. Seeing Lionel Messi, in person, on the field next to me was unbelievable! I attend St. Louis University High, which has the reputation of having an extremely challenging curriculum. As a student, I work hard to maintain an excellent GPA and plan to continue taking college level courses. A condensed version of my academic achievements are detailed below: - 3.82/4.0 GPA - AP Physics - AP Calculus - AP Spanish -  AP Micro/Macro Economics - First Honors (Every Semester since Freshman Year) I am looking for a college where I can continue high academics and continue my soccer career. I hope to find a soccer program where my technical, creative style of play will fit into their ideology, and where I have the chance to compete.
