Me as a Soccer Player - I have taken great pride in developing myself to be the best student athlete possible. On and off the field it has been important for me to develop my leadership skills, sense of responsibility, and work ethic.I work my hardest during every practice so I can benefit in the games. I set goals for myself at the beginning of the season/year and try hard to accomplish them. I utilize my teammates to push me to the limit. When I want something, I give 110% to achieve it. As captain of my AJAX team I try to lead by example and push our team to victory. I helped to coach a U10 boy's team and really enjoyed teaching them the rules of the game and sportsmanship.
Me as a Student - Being a student takes patience and many other characteristics in order to accomplish your goals. I try to always pay attention in class and work hard every day. My goal is to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA in order to succeed but I will continue to push myself to be better. My high school years have taught me patience and to always show respect. Hard work does ultimately pay off! I know that school is important and that I must maintain good grades to succeed in college.
I play striker and forward on both my club team and on the high school varisity team but also have experience playing other positions. I am more than willing to play ANY position to help my team. My goal is to play soccer in college at a smaller school where I can make an immediate impact to help the team and at the same time also be able to further develop my soccer skills and strengths.
