Knut-Magnus Hellebust '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Knut-Magnus Hellebust, I am from Norway, and here is a little something about my self.

Already from a young age I started to test out different winter and summer sports as well as outdoor activities.  Being active has always felt natural to me.  Trying out different sports gave me a good physical base to develop condition, balance and strength from. 

Soccer has been my biggest passion since I could walk. I have always brought a soccer ball with me, wherever I've been. My passion for soccer is the same, if not stronger.  I play soccer actively and I never get tired of it.

In the summer of 2015 I moved to Missouri, in a small town called Concordia,  where I went to school my Junior year. There I got the opportunity to start on the varsity team on our soccer team (every single game). They  had never come very far, but this year we came all the way to the States final, where we lost right before penalties. 

I am now back in Norway to finish my last year of High school.  My plans is to finish my senior year and then go to collage in the US.  I'm really looking forward to this.  Playing soccer and getting an education in the US, has always been a dream, and I am more driven and determined than ever. 

As a soccer player I like to move the ball quickly, always trying to find room and availability to pass the ball forward. I expect a lot from my self and my fellow team players, especially when it comes to being at the pre-planed place and time, following the tactics decided by the coach and his/her team. My mantra is : Train as you fight. 

As a person I am easy going, have a lot of friends (besides soccer also).  

My goal is to play college/University soccer, and at the same time get good grades.
