Andrew Pietrzak '12 Recruiting Profile

        My name is Andrew Pietrzak. I am 6 feet and weigh about 195.I am a senior goalkeeper currently attending Dearborn High in Dearborn,MI. My current GPA is a 3.4. My Highschool team won the WWAC championship along with our District title loosing the first regional game to Canton(State Champs). My team depended on me this year playing in the bigger games. When I was in net my team won 12 games lost 2 with 8 shutouts only allowing 7 goals in 14 games. During my Sophophmore year I won the sportsmanship award on my team for on and off the field.  For my club  I currently play for Vardar South as the starting goalkeeper.

     I am involved also in Track, Spanish Club and have been the Key Club treasuerer for two years. Key Club is basically a Highschool version of Circle K , this Provides me with many Community Service Hours also with doing a monthly report. This takes much responsibility  turning in the reports on timely, keeping track of the members in the club and handling the money. In Track my Varsity events are the 100 yard dash, discuses and high jump.

     I have wanted to play soccer in college since Sophomore year in highschool. I am willing to travel away from home to play in college soccer. I would like to play in DII or NAIA but would not mind opening my options to play DIII or DI.  I am Planning to major in Electrical Engineering and  minor Spanish but know not all schools offer this, If not offered I would be willing to take my core classes and transfer after a couple years. I am looking to apply for Financial Aid come Mid-Febuarary.  With my Grades I should be able to get an Academic Scolarship but would like an Athletic Scolarship as well.
