I consider myself a well rounded soccer player. Over the years I have worked to develop myself in all the positions on the soccer field, from my youth to the present. I believe by doing this, it will enable me to become a well rounded soccer player, and team member. Being a well rounded soccer player learning all of the positions, helped to improve my awareness of the game. On a day-to-day basis, I have consistently worked on both my strengths, and weaknesses. I believe that working not only on my strengths, but also working on my weaknesses improves my level of play. I am a disciplined person both on, and off the field in school, and in life. I know what I want, and the sacrifices and commitment it will take, to get me there.
I have maintained my focus on self development, my technical, tactical, physical, and psychological components of the game. Being a diverse player, allowed me to maintain an ability to shoot, dribble and play with both feet, which makes it harder to defend me. After committing the last few years of my life to working on my opposite foot, I now can say with confidence that I am both a right and left footed player. I have a lot of enthusiasm about this game. I have great technical ability, and handle the ball with confidence. I am very comfortable with the ball and make good choices. I have a great vision, and make good decisions during the game. I look to see how the next play I can make, to help transition the game. I have great speed of play, and keep the ball moving. When it comes to finishing, you can count on me. Being soccer ready also required me to put in effect a conditioning routine to maintain physical preparedness. I am very disciplined, as I work hard training on my own to stay fit, conditioned physically and, mentally. I run, and do skill drills each day on the days that I have no formal training or games. I lift weights to improve my physical strength.
Over the last year, I have gained mass at about ten pounds along with an increased height. I have a great work ethic, a great sense of the game, great technical and tactical skills as well. I am very coachable, a heads-up team player, hard worker, and in the end, I am a leader who brings a great attitude to the team. When it comes to the game itself, I am creative, and have a vision of what it takes to move the ball down the field. My first career choice is being a professional soccer player, and I have made a commitment to pursuing it. I am pursuing a professional soccer career, just as someone would any other profession. I know there are certain steps, sacrifices, and a lot of hard work to get there, but I will indeed get there. In the end, I am unselfish, as I consider myself a team player. I will work hard, and sacrifice, in the best interest of the team.
