Emil Bender '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emil Bender I play for the Nantucket High School Varsity soccer team as well as the U18 travel soccer team during the spring. I am 5ft 10in 155 pounds, I have good speed, vision, a good shot and a great touch on the ball. I have a very good mind for the game and understand it well. I was selected the Eastern Massachusetts all-star game my senior year. I have started varsity since my freshman year and have progressed my skills as the years have went along. My senior year I had two game wining and tying goals in the dying minutes of the game which I feel was one of my best accomplishments during my senior year. I can offer a team a hard working diligent player who makes plays understands the game and can create chances out of nothing. I love soccer it is my passion and I really wish to continue playing it in college. My ideal school would either be a D2 or D3 School in the New England area, the biggest school I would go to would probably have about 15,000 students. I am open to any sort of school really as long as I can play soccer there I will be happy.
