Peter Burton '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Peter Burton and I am a Senior at Dover-Sherborn Regional High School. I am 5'9" and 150 pounds. I am very good at dribbling and use my speed to my advantage. I play forward and outside wing for the MPS Knights and my High School team.  My high school consistently ranks in the top 3 public schools in Massachusetts. My High School accomplishments include... 2010 team was Dlll State Champion,  2011 Tri-Valley League Champion going 16-0-1 in the regular season, making to the South-Sectional Finals. In 2012 I started every game for my school and helped reach an overall record of 17-5-1, and winning the South Sectional Finals. My club team competes in the New England Premier League and Region 1 Premier League. My club achievements include, 2011 NEFC Tournament Champions, 2011 Scorpion Bowl Champions, 2011 Super-Y League New England Champions, National Semi-Finalists at the 2011 Super-Y League Finals in Tampa, Florida, 2012 NEFC Tournament Champions, 2012 NEP Champions, 2012 Massachusetts State Cup Champion, and 2012 USCS Mid-Atlantic Regional Finalist, 2013 NEFC Tournament Champions, 2013 MA State Cup Champions, 2014 NEFC Tournament Champions, 2014 Needham Memorial Day Tournament Champions, 2014 MA State Cup Champions. I am really looking forward to the opportunity of playing in college soccer and I prefer a small to medium sized Dl-Dlll school on the East Coast. I want to play soccer at a school that I can thrive at, on and off the field. My goal is to help improve a program, make an impact on my team, on my school, and on myself while I am there.
