My one true dream since I was a child was to improve my academic skills as well as my athletic skills. I have come a long way with soccer and I believe that it truly has helped me in life by meeting new friends that can share in the same love for a sport. These friends also helped me in improving my academics mutually in classes I had difficulties in as I helped them in classes they lacked in. My goals are to continue my education and take my soccer career to the next level and if everything works out and I continue to improve in my skills, i would one day like to support a team in the MLS. Every day I aspire to become the best person that I can be, and try to mature and prepare myself for the real world.
Also, in soccer when I was a child, my first coach told me that when a coach asks you what position you play to answer with where ever you need me. I have lived by this and can say that in my many years of soccer I have played in every position on the field and I believe it has given me a deeper understanding of the game and how it is played in all aspects. This also makes me very versatile as I have an understanding of all positions and have developed an ability to use both feet equally. Through the years of having him as my coach he would also ask all of the players parents what our grades looked like. he told us that academics are fundamental in the world and that if we didn't have good grades then we wouldn't play for that game. He was truly inspirational in my life and was one of my reasons to continue to maintain my grades while playing soccer.
