Michael Glazer '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Glazer. My goals for college are to get a good education. I am thinking about physical therapy or pharmacy. I want to play competitive soccer in college. I am a senior, currently starting as a forward for Marriotts Ridge High School(2009,2010 2A MPSSAA State Champions) in Howard County under coach Kevin Flynn. I also start at forward for my club team, U-17 SAC United Premier, under coach Matthew Shagogue. I am the captain of both my high school and club team. I scored 25 goals as a forward for my high school which was our schools single season record for goals. I have 45 goals in my career which is also the school record for most goals scored while playing on Varsity. I achieved Howard County Player of The Year, First Team All-State, First Team All-Met, and MRHS Offensive MVP my senior year. I was also on the Maryland ODP 1993 soccer team a season ago. I have been playing soccer since I was 5. My grandfather Jim Bullington was the Men's Soccer Head Coach at Loyola University for 17 years. My family has been a part of soccer all their lives. Soccer has been a positive experience for me and I want to continue the experience by playing in college. I achieved 2nd Team All-Howard County in 2009 scoring 11 goals and recording 4 assists as a right midfielder. I was also picked to go to play in the Ryder Cup as part of the ODP team.
