Kalu Ume '18 Recruiting Profile

My big audacious goal is to attain a full athletic/academic scholarship, play at the highest level for men's collegiate soccer, and earn my bachelors degree in business with my minor in music.

My interest in soccer began when I was about five years old. My father played soccer for a couple of adult club teams in the Dc Maryland Virginia area, and also coached a couple of local clubsides (Stores Inter FC, OGB FC etc.). Being around that environment ignited my desire to play soccer.

My interest in music began in the 8th grade. My love for playing the piano and reading music began from taking music classes in middle school and high school, along with also watching various singing/music shows such as "The Voice, X factor, Americas Got Talent."

I will be a pivotal piece to any collegiate team, with my leadership, desire to win, work ethic, and discipline. I'm also a believer, and proclaim the gospel of Christ unashamedly.
