Troy Young '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Troy Alan Young. im 5 feet 8 inches tall and weigh roughly 145lbs. I've played soccer at my highschool for four year 2 years jv, and 2 years varsity. My major strengths in my gameplay include agressiveness, speed, endurance, agility, and heart. I play to the best of my ability and believe that in order to win all players on the feild must contribute to a winning team. Also meaning that one player doesn't make or break a team. My senior year on varsity i received an 'Outstanding Sportsmanship Award' and was a co-captain for the team. Playing at the high-school level was a great experience for honing my talents and skills on the field. Yet, i want to have more of a challenge and find a way to make myself better by playing at a collegiate level. I dream to play at a average sized university in Maryland or anywhere close to home (ie. Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvainia, etc). My goal is to play on the team and make a impact that will be recognized by the school I attend and by schools in the conference in which i would compete in. I strive to best the best I can be and hope that this writing gives a better background of who I truely am. Thank You
