Raymond Lewis '17 Recruiting Profile

What makes me DIFFERENT from other soccer players is that I am capable of playing multiple positions. I have been taught and played each role on the field from defender to forward and have received advice from coaches with UEFA A Licenses and from Swansea F.C. of which I have put into play.   My level of understanding the game allows me to predict the next move on the field and help to better communicate with my team. I am raised by my mother and we initially had to learn the game of soccer on our own.  As I think back, I am proud of what I have accomplished.  I look forward to learning more on and off the field, playing harder and better.  

 Also, I am very mature. When facing difficult situations on and off the field I am able to handle myself well and stay out of trouble. I attended the best middle school in my city for 2011, Bowie, MD, St. Pius X Regional School which helped prepare me for the workload and demands of high school. Now I attend DeMatha Catholic High School which has helped me become a better person, student and athlete. Currently I hold a GPA of 3.4 and I am consistently working to raise it.

 Besides being a student athlete I also take care of those in need through community service and have received a letter from my city's food pantry for helping out.  Along with my family, I also help to rescue animals in my community.
