I am looking forward to continuing to play the game I love at the college level. I am a believer in being a lifelong learner who achieves success in every part of my life. I have been blessed to be coached by and to play with many high quality people and continue to grow and develop from those relationships.
I am currently attending The Hyde School, in Bath Maine, for a post graduate year of personal growth and development. At the Hyde School there is an intentional plan for each student to challenge them through AP Classes, internships, mentoring relationships, and extra curricular activities.
I will be starting at Attacking Center Mid this season for the Hyde School, a change from my last two year at FCA, but back to a familiar position from premier travel and early FCA years. Three weeks into the season, I was named Team Captain in recognition of my leadership, mentoring of others, and contributions on the pitch.
I attended Faith Christian Academy in Sellersville PA my entire life and graduated in May 2016. While my overall high school GPA is 2.84, I improved every year and finished strong with a senior year GPA of 3.25.
I was a four year starter on the Varsity Soccer Team, and Team Captain for my Junior and Senior years. Over the four years, I played both offensive center midfield and defensive center midfield. The change from offense to defense was in the best interest of the team and allowed me to grow tremendously over the last two years. It helped my team to achieve unexpected good results after graduating eight seniors in 2014.
I received recognition and awards for many things over my career at Faith Christian, including All League honors and MVP awards from Faith Christian. Those awards are annotated in my profile.
My high school coach is Ryan Clymer, who is also head of the FC Elite program. Coach Clymer works at a challenging schedule each year by planning non league games against quality public and private school competition including every size of school up to and including 4A. I am proud to play soccer for a high school team that consistently places players on college teams in all divisions, currently represented in Division I,II, and III , as well as NCCAA and NAIA. In 2014 there were 5 seniors from FCA who went on to play at the college level. Every year we have some players go on to play in college.
I played club soccer for WestMont United 98, in 2013 and 2014, under the coaching of Neil Pearson, a former elite club player in the UK. This club team plays a year round Delco League schedule and tournaments as well.
In 2015, I played for Montco Alliance, which is a new team made up of a core from the WestMont United team and other players. The Montco Alliance team will have huge benefits including turf and natural grass fields, professional coaches, college counseling, year round training facilities, and concussion prevention training.
I also played club soccer for the FC Elite 98/99 tournament team. In addition, I played indoor for FC Elite Spurs, an indoor winter league team made up of players from FC Elite and two other club teams. My primary premier team coach for several years has been Ed DiPietro.
I am a solid “B” student ( with some 'A's") and have been registered for NCAA eligibility since my freshman year, so that my grades and test scores will be available for review. I finished my Junior year with a GPA of 3.1 which was my best GPA in high school. I am committed to improving on that my senior year. My course credits are on track for NCAA eligibility and are being tracked by Coach Clymer, who is also the Headmaster at Faith Christian Academy.
