Blake Maness '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Blake Maness and I am currently in my Junior year of high school. I am 6'2" and weigh 185 lbs. Since the beginning of my Freshman year I have been a starter with vital roles on all three teams I have played with. My Freshman year I was the leading scorer of my Varsity team and was name Most Valuable Offensive Player. My Sophomore year I was a co-captain along with a Senior. The same year I was named to the All-District Team and an All-Tournament team as well. Once again I was the leading scorer of my Varsity team and was given the award of Most Valuable Offensive Player. My Junior year I was again named to the All District Team and recieved the Coaches Award for outstanding leadership. I was also a captain this year. My leadership skills are outstanding, no matter what position the team might be in I have been known very often to have provided the leadership to push through anything that came our way. I have three years of starting Varsity experience. All I could ever think about was playing college soccer and thats what my goal has been all my life. The size of school I play for makes no matter the effort I give on any team will be the same no matter who I play for. Some goals that I have, if recruited, are to be able to go onto a team and provide the things that they need exactly when they need them. I believe that I have the talent to make an impact on any team that I play on.
