Jonathan Rase '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jonathan David Rase. I am a Junior at Scott County High School in Georgetown, Kentucky. I am 6'2 and weight 148 lbs. I am a center mid for River City Rovers Soccer Club and a center mid for Scott County High school. For my high school team I have played all four years on the varsity soccer team and during my freshman year I played half varsity and half junior varsity which helped me get the JV MVP of the year for the high school. This past season I was honored to be selected as an All District team. I play for the 97 NPL and u17 MRL team for River City Rovers.  I have huge aspirations to play competitive college soccer at any level. I am a vocal leader and a leader by example on and off the field which is an important role for someone who plays my position. I like to control the game, keep the ball when we need possession and then change the pace of the game when needed. I am a student athlete who puts hard work in the classroom and on the field. I want to play college soccer for a program who wants to win and a program that will give me great opportunities for myself in the future. I am a player who likes to share the game of soccer. I have my grade 8 referee license and enjoy going out to help young players get better and understand the game. I see myself coaching in the future and giving back to young soccer players what my coaches and role models gave to me!
