Andrew Larsen '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Andrew Larsen, I am currently 17 years old, 6'1, and weigh about 170lbs. I play defense on my high school soccer team and am a defensive minded player. When I was a freshman I played on our fresh/soph team and I played Varsity and came of the bench as a sub. That year I was named the Fresh/Soph Defensive Player of the Year. When I was Sophmore I played both fresh/soph and Varsity, but this time I started as a defender on Varsity. Once again that year I was named the Fresh/Soph Defensive Player of the Year. My Junior year we had a more successful season than the last few. Our record was 8-11 in the Mississippi Athletic Conference which was filled with all senior squads and state ranked teams. This was also under a new head coach. This year I was named an Honorable Mention on the All-Metro team and a Captain of my team. I have no personal preference on where I want to go to school, I would just like the opportunity to play soccer at the college level, it has always been a dream on mine since Junior High. I want to play college soccer at the highest level possible, and be an important player on the team and assume my role of the team no matter what it is. My desired major for school is in a Communications program, more specifically the Television and Radio side of things.
