After I graduate high school in 2017, I would like to attend a 4-year college and study in the field of engineering or architecture. I would also love to be able to play soccer in college. I have been playing soccer since the age of 3 and would like to continue playing after high school. I have been a student athlete all of my life playing a number of different sports filling up the entire calendar year. In doing so, I have developed a very strong work ethic and a desire to want to improve and continue to learn at everything I do. I am currently attending Yorktown High School and am a student athlete participating in four sports (golf, soccer, football kicker, and basketball). I love playing four sports because I am always staying active and never have time to slack off. Playing four sports has also given me the opportunity to experience different coaching styles and several different forms of pressure situations and taught me how to deal with them. It has also helped me to learn to become a good leader and a good teammate. Aside from athletics, academics is something I take very seriously. I work hard in school and have always put academics before athletics. I know the importance of a good education and do everything I can to keep my grades up. I generally receive A's on my report card with an occasional B+, but anything lower is unacceptable. Being a part of a college sports team is very much a goal of mine and I know it is a big commitment and comes with a lot of responsibility. I am prepared to take on whatever I must do to become a collegiate student-athlete.
