Drake Bowers '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Munster High School In Munster Indiana. My one and only passion since I was 7 years old has been soccer. I have dedicated most of my life to it which is why my desire is to play soccer at a collegiate level. My father has had a direct influence on my work ethic both on and off the soccer field. He He obtained his PhD in Pharmacology Toxicology as well as being an NCAA gymnastics champion and world class athlete. I am fortunate to have his guidance through this process. Currently I am an honor roll student taking AP Calculus, Economics, and Psychology, as well as Honors Sociology. I carry a 3.55 GPA and seek to attend a college where I can compete with the best of the best in the classroom and on the field. The right college for me would be one where I can consistently learn and expand my horizon, to push myself to the best of my abilities both physically and mentally. I aspire to become a doctor and be successful in the medical field, yet I wish to achieve this after I play soccer. This is the only time in my life where playing a competitive sport is possible as the physical demands at this level can take its toll. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the ideal college match.
