Will Schwing '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Will Schwing and i am a goalkeeper from Lawrenceburg High School in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.I am currently 17 years old and i am a junior with a 3.5 GPA and have a huge interest in playing college soccer. I plan on majoring in Athletic training and would love to be part of a Men's soccer team and Athletic Training Program at any Division college.I have been a goalkeeper since i was eight years old and i have loved it ever since.When i finally got into high school i joined TFA and started training to become the varsity goalkeeper for my high school team. I am now currently captain and varsity keeper for my Tiger squad and we have had two great seasons the past two years. Two years ago we won our schools first regional championship and made a Final Four appearance in Semi-State. Last year i took the role as a captain and lead my squad to a Sectional Championship as well as a Regional final appearance. I earned multiple awards last season with a All - Conference Honorable Mention and a Sectional and Regional MVP. I would be a good fit with any squad because of my communication to my defense as well as my skills in the box and keeping the ball out of the net.. When i am off the field i am usually playing soccer with my teammates, lifting weights, or training the next generation of goalkeepers at my local SAY soccer league. It would be an honor to join a college soccer team and leave my history at a college as a goalkeeper.I have videos on youtube of some saves from some training sessions i put together with my friends.
