Personal Statement

I have been on Bremen's Varsity squad since freshman year.I started once my freshman year and started a few times my sophomore year, including starting the first round sectionals. I have also been on Bremen's JV squad since freshman year and started both freshman and sophomore year. Bremen's JV and Varsity squads were both undefeated in the 2012-2013 regular season.Varsity has won conference the last three years now (soccer joined the Northern State Conference in the 2011-2012 season). The 2013-2014 season was another very successful one for Bremen Boys Soccer. We won our annual invitational again for the 5th time now. We scored the most in team history this year with 100 goals! We also had the most wins in team history with 15 out of 16 regular season games! Sadly though, we lost in the sectional championship this year. But nonetheless, it was probably the best season in Bremen Boys soccer history! I started every game I played in during the 2013-2014 season, even on senior night when I was the only non-senior on the field. I played 17 out of 18 games because I missed one game with an illness. This year I played left/right defender and even center back at times. I also played center defensive middle as well as striker for a few minutes in one game. I scored my first goal of my high school career this year on a header on senior night. I also dished out 3 assists and led the team in steals with 93. It was easily the best season of my high school career and I hope next year it will be even better! I have many goals in life but here are just a few. One, is for Bremen High School to win its first ever Boys Soccer sectional championship before I graduate. To maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher throughout my whole high school career and to be in National Honor Society my Junior and Senior year of high school. Lastly, to play soccer at the next level and hopefully ending up playing at the highest level.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
