Hi Coach, My name is Jeremy Rector and I am a 6'1", 175lbs forward playing club soccer for the Georgia United USSF Development Academy U17/18 team and the Peachtree Ridge High School Lions in Suwanee, Georgia. Peachtree Ridge plays in the large school division, Region VII, class 6A, of the Georgia High School Sports Association. We also play in Gwinnett County – considered to be some of the best soccer in the nation for high school. Competition is fierce, with as many as 9 teams being ranked in the ESPN POWERADE top 50 during the 2012 season. In the spring of 2013, I will forgo my senior high school season to continue my development in the USSF Academy for Coach Ray Tomlin at Georgia United. Playing for Concorde Fire’s U17/18 Academy team in 2011, I played forward and outside striker. During the 2011 season we averaged the second most points per game in the nation, ultimately earning a trip to the Academy Playoffs as the Southeast Region Champions. Some of the individual honors I have received include: 2012 – Junior – U 17/18 Academy • USSF Academy – Concorde Fire • High School Varsity Starting Forward • 22 Goals, 9 Assists – 18 Game Season • Pre-Season, Gwinnett Daily Post “Super Six” • NSCAA Southern Region Selection • ESPN All State Selection • Georgia Region VII – “All Region” • Gwinnett Goal Club ‘ “All County” • Gwinnett Daily Post "All County" • Leading Scorer – Gwinnett County – 22 Goals • Finalist – Georgia “Gatorade Player of the Year” – ESPN • Top 150 – ESPN • Top 150 – College Soccer News • MVP – Georgia All Star Game – May 20, 2012 • 3 Time Arena Tavern Player of the Game 2011 – Sophomore – U15/16 Academy • USSF Academy – Concorde Fire • USSF Market Training Center – Invitee (2) • High School Varsity Starting Forward • 17 Goals, 10 Assists – 17 Game Season • Region VII – “All Region” • Gwinnett Goal Club ‘ “All County” • Gwinnett Daily Post "All County" • Top 150 – ESPN • Top 150 – College Soccer News • 2 Time Arena Tavern Player of the Game 2010 – Freshman – U15/16 Academy • USSF Academy Starter – Atlanta Fire United • USSF Market Training Center – Invitee (2) • High School Varsity Starting Forward • 7 Goals, 8 Assists – 10 Game Season • Arena Tavern Player of the Game • Georgia Soccer Source Player of the Game Career (through High School Junior season): High School • Peachtree Ridge Record – Most Goals Career, 46 • Peachtree Ridge Record – Most Goals Season, 22 • Peachtree Ridge Record – Most Assists Career, 27 • Peachtree Ridge Record – Most Points Career, 119 • Peachtree Ridge Record – Most Points Season, 53 • Peachtree Ridge Record – Avg Points Per Game Career – 2.70 • Peachtree Ridge Record – Avg Points Per Game Season – 2.94 Gwinnett County - All Time List • Assists in a Season – 10 – 10th All Time – 2011 • Assists in a Career – 27 – 6th All Time – 2010-2012 • Goals in a Season – 22 – 8th All Time - 2012 • Goals in a Career – 46 – 9th All Time – 2010-2012 Following are areas where College Camp Coaches have rated my performance highest: • Competitiveness, Confidence and Composure • 1 v 1 Attacking • Group / Shape Attacking • Creativity, Strong Runs, Passing Skills • Ability to score goals in a variety of ways – head, either foot, chip, etc. I am considering a business major, but I am currently undecided in this area.
