Personal Statement

My aspiration is to be a college soccer player. My skill level and work ethic are essential to my performance on and off the field. I am a leader and will push my teammates as well as myself to the peak of our abilities. I am different then other recruits because I am a very coach able player. I have won numerous coaches awards in soccer and other sports because of my teachable attitude. I put academics to a very high priority and I have a successful balance between athletics and academic achievements.
I have played club/travel soccer since I was eight years old. I was invited to the ID2- National Identification Development Program two years in a row from 2009-2010 in Friso, Texas. I play school soccer for Westminster Schools of Augusta and I have started on the Varsity Team since I was a freshman. I play mid-field and forward for my school team, and I was the captain of my school team as a junior. We won the 3A State Championship my sophomore year, and repeated the 3A State Championship my junior year. I play for the GA-SC Bulls U-17 Team and I start as a center back. My Club Team ended the season with a 26-1 record and attended the Regional Tournament on June 11-June 14 in Lafayette, Louisiana. My club team finished 3rd place in the National President Cup in Overland Park Kansas this summer.

AwardsI won the Faculty Award in 9th grade and only one male and female can win the award for the whole grade. I am part of the Beta Club as a Junior and Senior. I won the Michael J. Cave Scholarship my Junior Year. I won a Teacher's Award for Persistence and Achievement my Junior Year. I won 3rd place in the Georgia Regents University Regional Competition of National History Day in Georgia my Junior Year. I am a member of the Student Leadership Team, and the leader of Student Life as a Senior.
ActivitiesI am fully involved in the youth group at my church. I participated in the French Club my sophomore, junior, and senior year, serving as Vice President my senior year. I also was Class Vice President my Freshman Year. The summer before my Sophomore Year I was a Red Cross Volunteer at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medial Center. I have been a member of the Student Life Committee since my sophomore year.
