Luciano Magliocchetti '16 Recruiting Profile

As a family we have all been involved in sports since we were little. My parents have always been very supportive.  As a role model , my older sister played college softball and is now a grad assistant for a college softball team.   My love for soccer really evolved in middle school when I was selected for a travel team as well  for my school team.  Within two seasons on a club team I was selected as captain by my fellow players and coaches.  Since then I have worked very hard with my coaches to become a better player and leader on my teams.  I have a very good rapport with coaches and officials on the field.  Scholastically, AVID has been very enlightening for me.  Being involved in this program through middle school and high school has encouraged me to improve my study skills and think more of my future.  Volunteering as a tutor and working with kids over the summer at camps has been an amazing way to share my soccer skills with the next generation.  College to me is an important step in planning my future.  I would like to combine my love for soccer with the academic tools necessary to become successful.
