Christopher Craigen '16 Recruiting Profile

As of right now I am a Senior at Merritt Island High and our last season we placed second in state, the year before we won the state championship. One of my goals is to win state again this year. I want to major and get a PhD in psychology. I am a hard worker and a leader. Laziness is not acceptable and I encourage my team to be a brotherhood to play for each other and not just themselves. At Merritt Island High I learned to play for more than just a W on your record. We play for our teammates, our island, and our school. The program has taught me to dig deep when I need too. I've been playing soccer since I was 7 and I have always been a defender and have always loved it. I have always been aggressive and always winning 50/50 balls while putting in a hard clean tackle. Even at 5'10 I get up high to win head balls in and outside of the box. I want to further my soccer career by playing at the highest level while getting a great education while still improving as a player and a young adult.
