I first started playing soccer at 8 years old in Sasebo Japan where I learned not only from American coaches but Japanese coaches also, I took the knowledge they provided and ran with it and still use it now to remind me where I started, where I am now and where I'm going to go in the future. In the 8th grade, after moving back to Suffolk Virginia from my 4 year trip to Japan I was nominated and awarded MVP for my school Lakeland High School. While in Virginia, I got my first captain band and lead the team to numerous victories including an awesome win at the Kroger Cup tournament on October 9th, 2011 in Roanoke, Virginia. I continued to lead the team for 2 more years until we moved to Jacksonville Florida in August 2012 (for military purposes) where I started my freshman year for First Coast High-School in Duval County. Going into my sophomore year I grabbed the chance to be captain and I knew I had the skills necessary to lead the team, I'm currently still holding the captain band and plan on taking my team to Gateway Conference in the near future where we will have a great opportunity to show how good we are.
I'm hoping that I can have a great opportunity to show off my skills to colleges and universities, I can guarantee which ever college I can get into I will make the team shine with glory and make the coaches, fans and my parents proud. I'm 100% all for soccer. eat, live, and sleep soccer. You will not be disappointed.
