Brandon Hima '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brandon Hima and I am a Junior at Watertown High School. I have been a Varsity starter ever since I have joined the program my Sophomore year. I have also been selected as Senior captain for the 2015 season by my school's head coach Vitto Caligiuri. I was selected as an All Conference Conference player two years in a row, and my stats include 13 goals and 16 assists over my two Varsity seasons.

Ever since I have started playing soccer at age 6, I have been striving to play at the collegiate and professional levels. Throughout my ten years of playing soccer, I have obtained a vast amount of experience and skills that will enable me to highly compete at the top levels. I have been competing at the Premier league levels for 5 years with three different clubs which include Inter United FC with manager Filipe Lima, Academica Futebol Club with managers Tony Horta and Manny Olivera, and FSA United with managers Zeke Seguro and Tom D'Agostino.

The way I would describe myself as a player is that I am technical player with great stamina, excellent passing ability which allows me to accurately switch the point of attack, as well as a good shot. I am able to also play different positions on the field, such as attacking or defensive midfield, or drop back into the centre back role. I am a team leader through my communication with team coaches, staff, and players, and I also lead by example with my motivation, commitment, and play on the field.

I continue to achieve high grades and am always on the high honor rolls for each semester at my school, and am involved in clubs that are available at my high school.

I am very excited to announce that I have committed to play soccer at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, starting the 2016/2017 academic year, and hope to provide a great contribution to their uprising program.
