I am a senior leader of my high school team, Suffield High School. My team finished our regular season undefeated with a record of 15-0-1 . Most recently Suffield high school boys soccer has won the Connecticut State championship the past three years. I am currently looking at D1, D2 and D3 schools in the Northeast, but have not made a decision yet.
In addition, I have been a starter on the top premier club in Connecticut, FSA FC for the past 7 years. I am a great team player, work hard and lead by example. I can play any defensive back position I played mostly outside back when I was younger. More recently, I have moved to center back (holding back) for both my club team, FSA, and my high school team. In high school, I started every game at right back as a sophomore and junior and am now playing center back as a senior. I believe my strengths are: field vision, touch, making runs off the ball and accurate passing.
I have always dreamed of playing soccer in college. I have played competitive soccer since I was 8 years old. I love the game. I am a huge Manchester United fan and have followed them for years.
I am looking for a school that combines a great academic environment with a great soccer program and coaching staff. I am interested in many subjects and am very strong in Math, and History. I would like to stay involved with sports in some way when I graduate from college. My concentration as I look at colleges is in the northeast.
