Cale Gould Nov. 2...Personal Statement
I have been a devout soccer player and fan since a young age. I began playing soccer at the age of 3 years old, and I have played year round ever since. I have idolized strong center forwards such as Cantona, Rooney, and Reus; as well as the quick fluid movements of players like Giggs, Scholes, Robson, and Cruyf. These are the individuals from which I base my playing style. I play a deep #9 role and I thrive off of tight spaces and clinical finishing. My goals as a college athlete are to continue to improve and polish my technical and athletic ability, and to further my academic interests while pursuing a degree in literature. I would to have a career in teaching and writing.
