2012 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Jonathan Koch and I am a senior currently attending Vista Ridge High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I am a 4-year high school varsity starter and one of the current team captains. I also play U18 Club soccer for Pride United 96, and I primarily play center attacking midfielder.
I will graduate in the class of 2014. I am a focused student athlete with a GPA of 3.97, class rank of 2/260 and I am a member of the National Honor Society. I am a four sport athlete ( soccer, football, basketball and track) and my fitness level is excellent through the school year and summer seasons. I have a strong personal individual work ethic both on and off the field. I am interested in pursuing a degree in Communications, Computer Information Systems and/or Theatre and would like to find a school where I can be challenged academically and athletically. I understand that playing soccer at the collegiate level is an honor and privilege and I am willing to play at any division level where I can make a contribution and use my strength as a team player to help that team perform at a higher level than they previously played at.
UPDATE: Thanks to all who have contacted me and have helped me along the process of selecting a school. I have signed an LOI with Mid America Nazarene University and plan on attending in the Fall of 2014!!! Go Neers!!!
