Matthew Kourajian '16 Recruiting Profile

I plan to attend a four year college and advance my education as best as possible while obtaining a degree in a field that I haven't yet decided on. Along with that, I aspire to play college soccer at the highest level possible. There are many factors that would make me a good candidate for any team; leadership, accountability, dedication, work ethic, talent, great knowledge of the game and being a great teammate. I have always been a leader in my community and school, being involved in student council, National Honors Society and link crew (a program that lets upperclassmen help freshman get oriented into high school) at school, and also being a student leader for my local YoungLife organization. My accountability and dedication go hand in hand, ever since my freshman year of soccer, starting on varsity, I have been someone that coaches and other players can look to for leadership, advice and as someone to get the job done. I also believe that because of my relentless, determined work ethic, talent has never been something that I have struggled with, also I can understand and read the game very well therefore I believe my level of play increases. Lastly, academics has never been something that I have struggled with, therefore I have always been able to achieve above average academic success.
