Personal Statement

I have been playing soccer since I was three years old. I have wanted to play at the collegiate level ever since I was a little kid and I would love to play at the next level and will strive to develop my skills and to be a leader.

I have been playing competitively since I was eleven years old with the Colorado Rapids Academy. I played with them for four years at the highest level, I then switched to a new club closer to home but I am back to playing with them. When I got to high school I started on varsity my freshman year and have earned an all conference title my second year playing high school. I have also played 3v3 since i was little and have gone to nationals four times, and won first place once and third place two times. I am a very coachable player and I will work as hard as I can to be a team player and team leader. Some strengths I will bring to the team are: my technical ability, my leadership abilities and my awareness of the game. Through playing soccer i have learned many valuable lessons that only competitive sports can teach such as responsibility, reliability, discipline, and humility.

I have learned to work hard in the classroom and in life. In the class room and I am very determined to complete the assignment to the best of my ability. I have a strong GPA and plan to keep it where it is at and to get it higher and higher. I plan to take the ACT the fall of my junior year. I am very passionate about the clubs I participate in which are DECA and FFA and they have taught me valuable lessons needed in the real world. I would like to pursue a career in engineering and I will do everything possible to reach that point and complete my goals. I plan to get a job when I am of age to pay for auto expenses.

Living in Colorado has given me the opportunity to participate in many outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, biking, and best of all playing soccer. I always enjoy being able to take trips to the mountains where I can do things such as hunting, fishing, and camping. Even though Colorado has provided me with all of these I would like to attend college out of state, preferably somewhere on the west coast but I am very open to playing anywhere in the country.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
