My name is Stone Streeter and I will graduate from Fairview High School in 2017. As a high-achieving student athlete, I hope to pursue and prosper at the highest level of soccer possible. I have been very fortunate to be able to participate in soccer events at a local, regional and national level while continuing to achieve success in the classroom. I am looking to continue my soccer growth in soccer throughout my HS career at Fairview in Boulder, Colorado as well as my club team FC Boulder 17's Elite and my NPL team Boulder NPL. Going forward I will continue to utilize the things that I have been lucky to have going for me up to this point. They include high work ethic, passion, drive, organizational and time management skills, determination as well as leadership skills and an incredibly competitive nature. I am hoping that these and other personality traits that I possess will continue to help me face the challenges that lie ahead in order to achieve my goal of playing at a top U.S. academic institute that has a great soccer program.
I am a straight A student throughout HS as an IB Diploma Program Candidate at Fairview, one of, if not the top, academic school in the State of Colorado. I have maintained a 4.7-weighted GPA and am enrolled in several rigorous above-grade level math and science courses. I have been a member of the Student Senate for all 3 HS years and am currently a member of both Fairview’s Chapter of the National Honor Society and the Knight Crew (a mentorship program run through Fairview). Along with claiming the Presidential Service Award for strong commitment to performing community service, I have also completed a minimum of 20 hours of service each semester to maintain my memberships in the above listed organizations.
In the Fall of 2013, I was one of just a few Fairview Freshmen to make the JV team. On this team I played primarily midfield but got many minutes at forward as well. The following season I was one of 3 Sophomores to make the Varsity team and played defensive midfield. In 2015, my Junior year, I started every game at defensive midfield. Along with scoring the GWG against our cross-town rivals Boulder High School when they were ranked #16 in the country, I was a key asset in maintaining our low GAA and controlling the midfield game in and game out. At the end of my Junior season I was named All Front Range League 2nd team behind Porter Milner, an All-American out of Broomfield HS.
I play club for the FC Boulder U17 Elite team in the Spring and Summer as well as the 98 FC Boulder National Premiere League team in the Winter. Over the past few seasons, my FCB club team has advanced deep into the state playoffs and look to win it this year competing in the U17/U18 Super League in Colorado. A couple years ago my NPL team went to Nationals in North Carolina after winning the league in Colorado and advancing through regionals. On this team I was a starter at the defensive midfield position.
I am a very determined individual and am highly motivated to continue my soccer career into college. I have attended dozens of camps and clinics over the years and will continue to work hard to reach my highest potential on the soccer field as well as in the classroom. I look forward to seeing where soccer and learning can continue to take me.
