Kyle Carey '18 Recruiting Profile

I am excited to contribute to a top level college soccer program, while earning my education.  My work ethic is exceptional, and my high quality of character is something that is very important to me. 

I have always been able to "think" the game of soccer well, and anticipate things before they happen, which enables me to make good decisions with and without the ball.  My coaches have always told me that I have very good field vision.

My left foot is dominant, which often makes defending me challenging for the opponent.  I am good at finding an open teammate and I create good scoring chances for my team from the left wing position, in addition to having a strong scoring strike myself.  My corner kicks are a strength of mine as well.

I am tenacious on defense as well when I drop back, and I have a non-stop motor which allows me to keep going throughout the match when others are winded.

I am a positive leader on my high school and club teams, and feel that my leadership style is well received by my teammates.  Currently I have a 4.0 GPA.
