Soccer is my true passion. I plan to play competitively while continuing my education in college. My ultimate goal is to play soccer professionally and represent my country. However, I am aware that the probability of going pro in any sport is very low, so I believe that receiving a well-rounded education is very important.
I am now a full-time player on the U16 Strikers FC Academy team, coached by Don Ebert. In my eight previous seasons of competitive club soccer (this is my 6th season with Strikers), I have been a starter and key player in all eight. I started playing left defense because my coach wanted a left-footed player that could get involved in the attack and also play defense. My coaches have told me that I influence the team with my work ethic, speed, fitness, tactical awareness, and aggression. I thrive in left back and left midfield because of my “cultured left foot”, precise passing, consistent first touch, and accurate crosses. This is my third season playing mostly left back and previously played left midfield for four.
In addition to club, I also played Varsity soccer for my high school team as a freshman and sophomore in left back. I made 2nd Team All-League my sophomore year and started and played nearly every minute of every game during both seasons.
I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember and I plan to continue to play throughout college and hopefully beyond.
