Personal Statement

Dear Coach,
I am pleased that you have found interest in me and I know I am what you are looking for.
I will make a great candidate for your team because I am dedicated and will stop at nothing to reach my highest potential. Whether it be in the classroom or on the field, expect only my best. I also have a strong spirit, even when circumstances are not at their best. I have been in games where we were losing 9-0, but I still set a goal for myself in not being mercy-ruled. I succeeded and, although the score board showed us as failures, I saw it as a personal win for not allowing the opponent the pleasure of that last goal.
My goals that I wish to accomplish in the future is to find a great college where I have the chance to play soccer and study to go into medical school. I also want to be able to leave high school as the top 25 of my class (I am close!). As for what makes me different from other academically is that I am daring with the classes I take and will again stop at nothing to do my best in them. For example, I am one of the only 12 to take AP Calculus BC.
