May 2013 Personal Statement
My dream is to be successful to my upmost potential. The abilities and qualities I possess I plan to use to my advantage, whether it be on the water or in school. Since I was I eight years old, I have yerned to be accepted into an elite, prestigious university where I can pursue my interests. Rowing, since freshmen year has become a great part of my life. The pure essensce of the boat house, the serenity of the water, the way everything moves around me when I add pressure to the boat and the raw energy translated to the water when a group of men exert pressure in synch is what I love about rowing. It would be an honor to share victories with a team at the collegiate level. The majors I wish to pursue are international business and political sciences. These majors will alow me to travel the world and experience the many cultures that make it up. I have outstanding leadership qualities that compliment my determination and thirst to succeed in whatever situation I am placed in.
