Jacob Hamilton '17 Recruiting Profile

I started playing lacrosse in 8th grade with only 5 games left in the season. I had only gone to 2 practices before we had a game and I had a faint idea of what I was supposed to do. I scored 3 goals in my first game.  I immediately fell in love with scoring, hitting, and just the game in general.

As I progressed and got better, our team got better as well which really made me love the game even more. I was challenged by other players and coaches to score more goals which in turn helped me get better. I enjoy competing with teammates because it allows both me and the other players to play better. I am very coachable and open to any suggestions or advice to elevate my game.

I have challenged myself academically as well. The majority of my classes are AP and Pre- AP classes. I have never received a grade lower than a B in any of my classes. I am a hard worker and will do whatever it takes to excel in whatever class I am in. I always finish what I start to my best of my ability because it is what I have done my whole life.
